Marko Jovanović
Marko has been opening real accounts and timing real withdrawals in the Balkan iGaming market since 2016. Before that, three years in payments operations at a licensed processor gave him a sharper read on payout timing and fee structures than most reviewers ever develop.
About Marko
Marko spent three years as a payments-ops analyst before iGaming ever entered the picture — processing chargebacks, tracing settlement delays, and watching the gap between what processors promise and what players actually see on their bank statement. That background shapes every withdrawal test he runs. When he clocks a payout at 47 hours instead of the "24 hours" in the T&Cs, he knows exactly where the drag came from.
He started reviewing Serbian-market casinos in 2016, originally as a way to track licensed operators after the Games of Chance Administration began its regulatory push. Every review starts with a real account and real money. He doesn't review from a press kit. If the KYC queue takes four days, you'll read that it took four days.
His particular focus is the intersection of payment method reliability and bonus terms — two areas that routinely screw players in ways that are only visible once you've actually tried to cash out. He signs off every operator score on this site before it goes live, and he re-checks them on the 90-day cycle. No operator has ever paid for a higher score, and none ever will.
How I test
Same method, every time — the variation is in what the casino hands back.
- Open a real account, full KYC. I go through the exact sign-up flow a Serbian player would — no VIP liaison, no press access. If the process is slow, opaque, or broken, I document it. Verification documents submitted and the clock starts there.
- Deposit, play, and hit the bonus caps. I claim the welcome bonus, read the actual T&Cs (not the summary), and track wagering contribution by game category. I test each payment method separately and record fees both ways.
- Withdraw and time it. Each method gets a timed withdrawal. I note when I requested it, when it cleared, and whether the amount matched what the cashier promised. That number goes into the score — there's no generous rounding.

Credentials & disclosures
Marko's scores and written assessments are his own. No casino, affiliate manager, or payment provider has editorial input on what he writes — not before publication, and not after. His ratings are computed from the test data he collects; they are not negotiated.
CasinoSerbia earns affiliate commission when readers click through and register at a casino. That commission is the same regardless of the operator's score — a casino rated 4.0 pays the same rate as one rated 9.0. The financial model creates no incentive to inflate any review. Corrections: If you spot something wrong or a casino's terms have changed since this was written, contact Marko directly. Reviews that get a material correction are re-tested in full, not patched with an editor's note.
